My Story
My name is Jessica Stern.
Having experienced foster care and family separation, I feel deeply concerned about the state of the American family. This led me to co-found Connect Our Kids and create the YouTube series All Connected: A Place for Belonging, a mental health platform for children in foster care. I'm also an aspiring writer. You can learn more about that work at www.HighTimeForHighTea.com, where tea serves as a metaphor for female empowerment and purposeful living.

I’m a wife and mother who feels out of touch in a constantly connected world. When I turned 50, I made a decision: while my child was at school, I would finally give myself permission to create the life I’ve always been too distracted (or maybe too afraid) to build.

It is with great delight and earnest purpose that, alongside a circle of exceptionally gifted companions, we embark upon a venture of intellectual, emotional, and spiritual nourishment: programs designed not merely to soothe the body but to challenge and disrupt the pernicious grip of chronic stress upon the mind and spirit.

For what is stress, if not a heavy cloak that stifles thought and impedes joy?
Every single one of us deserves health and happiness and the support that empowers us to cultivate both. That begins with a profound awareness of how traumatic events affect our lives and relationships.
